Jennie's Gourmet Jams exclusively at Miracle Haven. Special Orders |
Jennifer Clarke Jennifer Clarke was born in Wisconsin and describes herself as "a nutty, friendly person". She has been making gourmet jams and jellies for a little over 4 years. She loves creating things that people enjoy, which is the reason she started this business. Her grandmother partially taught her to make her jams and her friend taught her how to seal jars (She is now, profecssionally certified as a food handler.). Then she created all of her gourmet flavors – like Chocolate Covered Cherry, Quadruple Very Berry and White Chocolate Raspberry Jam! Jennifer also creates unique clay beads, soft fleece blankets and the adorable baby diaper “cakes” that are a popular centerpiece at baby showers! She loves to camp and travel ~ and often teaches bead making or cooking classes at family camps in the summer. Jennifer’s husband loves to relax and socialize with everyone! They have 3 beautiful children, 2 boys and 1 girl. Her son loves to play and has an amazing memory for detail. Her daughter loves to sing and read, and her new baby boy smiles a lot! Jennifer can take custom orders, especially if you have a favorite flavor or special dietary needs. |

Kim Boardman Recently, Kim was approached to help put together a prototype of a baby product that is going to be patented. “The developers met me at a craft show and said that they chose me to help because they loved my stuff and could tell I LOVE sewing for babies,” she explains. Kim gains inspiration for the delightful sense of “community” she experiences on annual family trips in her husbands hometown, Manchester, England. Although, she comments, “Weather-wise, it is truly the opposite of Phoenix—cold and rainy!” We’re happy to have Kim, stateside as a Featured Artist at Miracle Haven. |

Donna Willoughby Donna Willoughby is a delightful woman who began putting her creative talents to use, designing beautiful jewelry, after a serious injury forced her to make a career change. Her specialties are “custom sizing” and chainmaille. To form a piece of chainmaille jewelry, Donna uses jeweler’s tools to link, tiny rings of lightweight metal together in an intricate medieval pattern. As she showed her friend a couple of pieces, her friend put her hand over her mouth and stared. Donna asked her, “What is wrong?” Her friend answered, “It is so beautiful! I can’t believe it.” Donna loves to create new jewelry pieces and enjoys reading. She is also a member of The Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc., an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. She was born in Colorado and has a grown son, daughter and two grand kids. Living at home with her are 7 sweet felines and 3 dogs! Good news!! Donna can take custom orders and especially enjoys creating jewelry for people who need a special size. Her motto is ~ custom jewelry at “un”-custom prices. |
| Larissa Pearlman Larissa Pearlman creates lathe turned wood art pieces, writing instruments, wine bottle stoppers, bowls, plates, oil lamps, perfume atomizers and more because she is fascinated and thrilled by the uniqueness and beauty of wood. Everything she makes reflects the inner natural beauty of trees & burls. “Nature is the artist,” she says, “I just help turn it into something we can admire or use in everyday life... .” For over 5 years, Larissa has been turning and receiving compliments on a regular basis about her wood work. “It's funny,” she says, “People love to touch, feel & even smell the finished pieces." Each piece of wood is hand selected and dried thoroughly before turning. Although it requires a great deal of patience, since some of her prized pieces have been drying for over 2 years, she doesn’t kiln dry her wood. She loves the true colors her woods maintain as they dry naturally. As she works through a bowl, pen or wooden plate she turns off the lathe frequently to see what the grain is doing, and adjusts the shape to enhance it - bringing out the best of what the wood or burl offers. Every piece is truly One-of-a-Kind and Custom Orders are welcome! Very satisfied corporate customers have commissioned her to design beautiful pen & pencil sets for clients and special occasions. Raised in Arizona, when she isn’t pouring her creative heart into turning wood, Larissa loves spending time with her sister and fantastic daughter, Jessica . |

Kristi Caggiano ~ Owner Kristi Caggiano studied flat-pattern design and advanced clothing construction while attending GCC. After classes, Kristi designed custom clothing and wedding gowns for 7 years. Then (big switch, here) began working with a rock n roll band, assisting with booking, planning events, copyright submissions, marketing and promotion. During this stint, she planted a charming, eclectic garden in her home. In 2001, she began opening her home and garden to the public, once a year, for the Miracle Haven Garden Tour & Boutique, providing an opportunity for visitors to wander through her whimsical garden and shop from items handmade by local Artists . On April 13th, 2007 she opened "Miracle Haven, Shops in The Garden", a Boutique & Bistro, in Catlin Court/ Downtown Glendale and has enjoyed creating the same comfortable atmosphere that permeated her home and garden during the original Garden Tour & Boutique. The garden, at Miracle Haven, is pretty much just a lovely border- but utilizes the knoweledge and talents gained from 18 years of local gardening trial n error. She has hopes of expanding. Kristi is a native Arizonan, with 2 amazing daughters, 1 brilliant husband, 2 Yorkies and 2 rather large goldfish. |
